A combination of drawing and design work to create pieces for limited and open print runs. The subject matter can vary but I frequently hone in on surfing, enjoying a wealth of experience being a surfer, both in the water and in the surfboard (airbrush/graphics) industry.
From working with surfboards and in graphic design I have gained techniques to create a process that uses drawing, painting, printing and software elements to produce layered graphic pieces to go to print. They are all printed on the finest paper, using the best inks, and hopefully they journey further to find frames and new eyes. All prints available in the shop.

From the Vaults
From the Vaults is a selected handful of surf art prints dating back to 2009. The collection is made up of open and limited print runs, some of which are completed and others approaching their final numbers. I have been inspired by various styles and artists over the years, but tend to stay with the idea of using text and layers. It is these elements that keep me interested in both my collage and graphic illustrations as they allow me to draw, print and paint on them. I didn’t set out to create surf art, I have used the same techniques with various other subject matters. However, having spent my whole life surfing and being around surfboards in the surfboard industry, I keep gravitating to the shapes, lines and lifestyle of surfing, that in turn is reflected in what I choose to produce.
