Welcome Gold

After a month of howling winds and torrential downpours the sunshine on the 1st December was welcome. The weather does little to deter people from walking their dogs, that is of course, if their dog wants to go out, I found this out first-hand. But as you can see on Porth beach, Newquay, Cornwall, there is no stopping them when there is a break in the rain.

It’s hard to keep track of the North Atlantic low pressure systems as they have been relentless, serving up non-stop swell, wind & rain. At long last the wind went south easterly and the change brought a spell of good waves and sunshine.

Look past the beach rules, go surfing.

A shoreline dance celebrating the conditions.
